When CAN-204 module reads data via Modbus, it will load the data received on the CAN bus into the cache in real time and wait for the Modbus command to read. After receiving the Modbus read command, the module will convert the specified CAN data and send it to the Modbus bus; when the module receives the Modbus send data command, it will directly process the Modbus data and send it to the CAN bus.

Modbus slave supports function codes: 03H, 06H, 16H;

Serial port baud rate supports a range of 600bps~115200bps, which can be configured by software;

CAN-bus supports CAN2.0A and CAN2.0B frame formats, in line with ISO/DIS 11898 specifications;

CAN-bus communication baud rate is arbitrarily programmable between 5Kbps~1Mbps;

Maximum conversion data flow: 400 frames/second (maximum serial port baud rate measured);

CAN transceiver configuration 14 groups each

Users can set filters independently

Use 9~24V DC power supply (recommended 24V 20mA);

Non-volatile memory saves configuration parameters, and automatically calls the most recent parameters after each power-on;
